Terms of Use

The owner-adopted rules for accounts, workspaces, field decisions, and the no-fee beta.

Effective Content revision September 1, 2026

Agreement, operator, and scope

These Terms of Use are owner-adopted by The Foundery Group, LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company operating LimitLine. They are scheduled to become effective prospectively at the effective time shown with this version; they are not represented as reviewed by licensed counsel.

These Terms govern the LimitLine website, native applications, personal workspaces, clubs, guides, outfitters, and related services made available under this version. By affirmatively accepting the exact version presented to you, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account.

Accounts, eligibility, and workspaces

Users are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding credentials, and actions taken through their account. Workspace owners control membership and access within their organization, while members and guests receive only the role-based access made available to them.

Every account holder must be at least 18. LimitLine requires a boolean 18+ threshold confirmation before public account creation and before acceptance of launch documents. It records the confirmation, threshold, eligibility version, document identities, bounded reason code, application revision, and server time—not a birth date, identity document, or parent or guardian information. A person who is under 18 may not create, accept, or use an account.

Existing and provisioned accounts must complete the same attestation and exact-version acceptance before authenticated workspace use when the launch acceptance gate is activated. An invitation does not establish eligibility or create access by itself.

Maps, analysis, and field decisions

Property lines, parcel details, terrain, weather, routes, habitat analysis, artificial-intelligence output, and field recommendations may be incomplete, delayed, estimated, or wrong. They support judgment; they do not establish ownership, permission, legal access, a surveyed boundary, game-law compliance, or a safe route.

Users must verify current laws, landowner permission, boundaries, closures, weather, fire conditions, daylight, water, roads, structures, hazards, and personal ability before acting.

Safety and location features

LimitLine is not an emergency service, dispatch service, rescue service, or substitute for a reliable field plan. Location and Field Check-in features depend on device permissions, power, network availability, recipient consent, and configured delivery providers.

No outbound safety-delivery channel is launch-approved yet. Unless a later effective Safety version identifies an enabled channel with internal production-delivery proof, users must not rely on LimitLine to summon help or deliver an urgent message.

Subscriptions and professional activity

This version covers an invitation-only, no-fee beta. It does not offer a public subscription, marketplace, in-app purchase, auto-renewal, commission, payout, or paid professional service. Any later paid offer requires separate commercial terms that identify price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, refunds, taxes, platform rules, and the seller before purchase.

LimitLine does not currently operate a public guided-hunt marketplace, verify guide credentials, hold client funds, provide payouts, or promise that a professional is licensed, insured, or permitted for a particular service.

User content and shared records

Users retain ownership of information, photos, waypoints, contacts, reports, and other content they add. They grant LimitLine a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license, sublicensable only to service providers, solely to host, process, transmit, display, secure, back up, and provide the user-selected service. The license ends when content is deleted, subject to authorized shared-workspace copies, legal holds, security evidence, provider completion, and backup expiry described in the Privacy Notice.

Users represent that they have the rights and permissions needed for submitted content, precise locations, contacts, and photos. Workspace records may remain visible to authorized members according to roles and record-level privacy settings. Reports of infringement, unlawful content, or abuse may be sent to support@thefounderygroup.com; LimitLine does not claim a registered DMCA-agent or statutory counter-notice program unless separately established.

Suspension and termination

LimitLine may impose the least-restrictive, time-bounded restriction reasonably necessary for active security, safety, unlawful-use, or rights harm. It will provide notice and a support-channel appeal when practicable, but may restrict access immediately when delay creates material harm. LimitLine may preserve evidence and comply with a legal hold; suspension does not promise export, deletion, billing, or restoration outcomes that are unavailable or unlawful.

A user may stop using LimitLine at any time and may submit the currently available non-destructive deletion intake. Closing an application or leaving a workspace does not itself delete an account, cancel billing, or erase shared records.

Warranties and liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIMITLINE, THE BETA, AND THIRD-PARTY DATA ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THIS DOES NOT DISCLAIM A WARRANTY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED OR CONTRADICT AN EXPRESS PROMISE IN THIS VERSION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE FOUNDERY GROUP, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR LOST-PROFIT DAMAGES. AGGREGATE DIRECT CONTRACTUAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF USD 100 OR THE AMOUNT PAID FOR LIMITLINE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

The exclusions and cap do not apply where prohibited by law, or to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by culpable conduct, or another obligation that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnity

A user will defend and indemnify The Foundery Group, LLC against a third-party claim caused by that user’s unlawful content, knowing infringement, or intentional material misuse of LimitLine. LimitLine must provide prompt notice, a reasonable opportunity to control the defense, and reasonable cooperation. No settlement may impose an admission, payment, or continuing duty on LimitLine without its written consent. This indemnity does not cover ordinary authorized use, a product defect, or LimitLine’s own conduct.

Governing law and disputes

South Carolina law governs these Terms without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where non-waivable law gives a user additional rights. There is no mandatory arbitration clause or class-action waiver in this version.

A claim may be brought in a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction in South Carolina, subject to any non-waivable venue or small-claims right. Before filing, either party may send a written description of the dispute and requested resolution to the notice channels below and allow 30 days for a good-faith response, unless urgent relief or an expiring deadline makes that impracticable.

Notices and changes

Operational, privacy, abuse, deletion, and ordinary legal notices may be sent to support@thefounderygroup.com. Formal postal notices may be sent to The Foundery Group, LLC, attention Trevor Klenke, 2267 Blakers Blvd, Bluffton, SC 29909. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, credentials, precise location histories, private photos, or contact lists by email.

Material changes apply prospectively after clear notice and renewed acceptance when they materially alter user rights or obligations. Security, safety, legal, or provider changes may use a shorter period when reasonably necessary, with notice as soon as practicable. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law; failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
